We pride ourselves in establishing positive, long-term relationships with the residents residing in our communities through the on-going efforts of our Community Relations Department.

Magellan’s community relations team is headed by Vanessa Casciano who coordinates building and community events throughout the year intended to foster resident interaction.   Events include “Movies in The Park” and “Music in The Park” Summer Series, “Taste of Lakeshore East” and the “Magellan Rewards Festival” which draws over 80 vendors and 2,000 residents!  Other community building activities have included “Fitness in The Park”, an annual family Halloween trick or treat & costume party, sneak-peek exclusive events to cultural attractions, complimentary happy hours, fun runs, pet focused events plus much more.

Community relations also assists with hosting specific on-site building events that may include partnering with vendors ranging from in-home service providers to local restaurants and spas.

The Community Relations Director is also the liaison between the community, developer and city officials (including the Chicago Park District and Alderman’s Office) and is the main point of contact when questions arise about new developments and community news.
